ABOUT AMY EVANS

I have enjoyed recruiting and human resource positions for nearly 30 years, but my passion is for recruitment. I’ve focused exclusively on executive recruitment in the past 10 years. Working with growth minded, innovative companies with a great culture is where I thrive.

  • After graduating from UConn, I started at Coopers & Lybrand as a recruiter and grew into a role overseeing Recruiting, Resource Management & Human Resources in Atlanta.

  • C&L was acquired by Price Waterhouse (PwC) (now IBM Global Services). With the change in culture, I moved to a start-up, Core Harbor (aquired by ISI then AT&T) where I led HR & Recruiting, (we doubled in size the year I was there, then 9/11 happened...).

  • A leader from C&L recruited me to Adjoined Consulting where I led Recruiting and supported the company’s rapid growth in the SAP arena.

  • Adjoined was acquired by Cap Gemini. I left to start my own company, Talent Continuum, focused on recruitment services for privately held companies primarily hiring finance and technology professionals.

  • Joined one of my clients, VirtuStream, as the head of HR and Recruiting. Eventually with the travel needs of Virtustream and active teenagers, I left VS to join Daugherty Systems.

  • Exactly a year later, I joined NCR as the head of Executive Recruitment and added University Relations to my responsibilities a year or so later. While at NCR, I received my MBA at Georgia Tech in Global Business.

  • Ready for a new adventure I joined Change Healthcare, a healthcare IT company, leading Executive recruitment. Here we hired great talent, increased diversity and built a strong Talent Acquisition brand!

  • CHC was acquired by United Healthcare, which I really thought would be a great career journey, and it was as it has led to my own venture, The Agile Recruitment, founded in 2023.

Let’s grow The Agile Recruitment together. I look forward to working with you, as a client or a candidate. We may even work together as a candidate and a client!

Upon graduating from Georgia Tech in 2017 I realized I had a LOT of unread books, as I was constantly purchasing the teachers’ recommendations.

I wondered, “What am I going to do with all these books?” And an answer came: I started a book club in 2018, now called Atlanta Readers Club. We survived Covid and continue to evolve, grow and change, just like the companies I support!
